| Spring Trails Weekend | |
| Location: | Mostly Outdoors! |
| Time: | 8am to 5pm |
| Description: | Please mark your calendars for the upcoming Trails Weekend of April 17th and 18th. As usual, we will be planning on socially-distanced trail clearing activities this year. Since we will not be having our breakfast, please contact Tom Hallowell (tomhallowell@mcclureco.com) in order to coordinate trail assignments. Pruning and loping shears, bow saws and chain saws are all welcomed and part of a well-equipped trail clearing crew.
In an effort to clear obstacles from around the lake path and to preserve the natural appearance and beauty of our lake shore, we are requesting cottage owners to remove abandoned and unused objects including dock sections, boats, buoys, chairs, etc. located within in 50 feet of their lakefront or stored at the Icehouse or South Beach. If you identify an item which you need assistance with removing, please contact Tom so he and the Trails Committee can assist you in determining the best means of moving or disposing of the item. In addition, please remember to put your name on your boats and docks so they can be returned to your cottage should they float away when the lake floods. During the flood on August 4th, 2020, a section of dock and a row boat were swept past the outlet bridge and a sunfish floated away from its mooring.
If you have any questions or comments please contact Tom. See you on the trails on on Trails Weekend!
