Fall Trails Weekend
Saturday, October 7th, 2023, 8:30am to 12pm at Lodge Porch
Trails Weekend is Saturday October 7th!

Plan on being at the Lake for the beautiful seasonal colors with family and friends for this year’s fall trail clearing weekend. Please contact Tom Hallowell tomhallowell@mcclureco.com or 717-648-4762 for assignments and updates. Please plan on using clippers and hand saws. We also have need for crews with chain saws. There are tasks for everyone who wishes to participate. We also ask that lot owners review the state of their lake front and dock areas as well as the Icehouse and South Beach areas. We seek to remove all old and derelict hulls, dock sections, old buoys, and the like that have accumulated over the years. If you need assistance, please let me know. I look forward to seeing you all out on the trails! Tom Hallowell

Trails Weekend - Community Hikes
Sunday, October 8th, 2023, 11am to 1:30pm at North Beach
On Sunday October 8 at 11am, the Paupac community is invited to join a community hike.

We’ll be starting from the parking area by the small inlet/ North Beach on west lake drive, walking the Gamelands trail to Greentown road and then back. Hikers will have 4 options for return to the lake.  The longest option would be approximately 4.2 miles/ 2.5 hours coming back via the Exception Fork trail.  Significantly shorter and less complex options including Gravel Pit, Porcupine, Exception, and Haser trails.  Trail heads for these trails and those on the opposite side of Greentown road will be visible for hikers.  Water, sturdy shoes, and an adventurous spirt needed (long pants, and bug repellent recommended).  Hope to see you there.
