Spring Trails Weekend
Saturday, April 15th, 2023, 8:15am to 9pm at Zatzman Cottage to start
If you plan on being at the Lake, please contact Tom Hallowell (tomhallowell@mcclureco.com or 717-648-4762) for work assignments and updates. Feel free to volunteer for a particular trail assignment of your liking. Please plan on using clippers and hand saws. We also have need for crews with chain saws. This a great opportunity to invite the extended family and friends up for a great spring weekend at the Lake! If you have a suggestions on a project you would like to facilitate out on our trails, please suggest.
We plan - for those who are comfortable in the group setting - meeting at the Zatzman’s cottage for coffee at 8:15AM Saturday morning.  Work hours are at your own pace but generally start by 9:00am and complete when you feel you have achieved your goals! Please be safe! Work with a partner, particularly if you are using a chain saw. Proper clothing and personal protective equipment should be used for the task at hand. Sturdy work shoes, gloves and eye protection are always a good start!

We also ask that lot owners review the state of their lake front and dock areas as well as the Icehouse and South Beach areas. We seek to remove all old and derelict hulls, dock sections, old buoys, and the like that have accumulated over the years. If you need assistance, please let Tom know.
